Peter is an accomplished company founder, non-profit board chair, and local living economy thought leader with medtech, fintech, and international management consulting experience. The medical supply company Peter founded, sold at a ten X multiple in less than a decade. He co-founded the Capital Investment Network, a venture capital investment group, based in Canada and acted as advisor to Simon Fraser University’s Community Economic Development Program. Peter led the BCom In Entrepreneurial Management Capstone Project at Royal Roads University (RRU) as Associate Faculty for three years, and while at RRU, designed the first Impact Search Fund business model based on the Stanford University model, and also designed the first Impact Mortgage Fund. Peter was a member of the Emerging Economy Taskforce for the province of British Columbia, that was the precursor to Project X, a new way of commercializing applied research.
